Getting started — the first week

What to finish before Sunday so the product is carrying the church, not the other way around.

Disciplo is the place your people, Sundays, follow-up and care live together. It is not a directory you fill in once. The value starts the first time a guest's name is on a register and someone is assigned to call them before Wednesday.

The dashboard card Finish setting up your church is the order we recommend. Required items hide the card when they are done. A five-stop product tour starts on Home the first time; skip it, or replay it from the account menu.

    Day one

    Add the church logo and the email identity (the name people see, and the address replies go to) on Settings. Review and publish your welcome form — check the questions, SMS consent, QR code and thank-you message. Import or type the people who already belong.

    Invite one teammate from Settings → Users & Roles. Follow-up that belongs to a single person stops the first week they are away.

    Before the first Sunday

    Create this week's service under Gatherings → Services. Check-in, kiosk mode and child pickup codes all hang off that named gathering — there is nothing to tap if Sunday does not exist as a service.

    Start one group, even a small one. Groups are where people connect between Sundays; ministries are where they serve. They are separate on purpose.

    If you have children, add them with age category Child or Youth, put them in a household, and flag at least one adult as a guardian. A pickup code is generated at check-in for that service. The guardian is the fallback when the code is not to hand.

    Run a practice check-in

    Open the register and tap one name so Sunday is not the first time the tablet is used. If your plan includes online giving, finish Connect with Stripe on Giving → Online Giving and confirm charges are enabled.

    What this is not

    You do not need to configure every workflow, sequence or report before Sunday. Those earn their keep once first-timers are actually arriving. Get the door, the register and the follow-up pipeline working first.
