Pledge campaigns
A named ask with pledged, given, and still-to-come. Cash against a pledge is allowed — the fund comes from the campaign.
Giving → Pledges is campaign progress, not a second batch list. Online and offline gifts can count toward the same pledge.

Create the campaign
Open Pledges, start a campaign, and set the fund on the campaign. Gifts against it use that fund. Do not pick a fund again on each cash entry as if it were optional colour.

Record gifts against it
In a batch, attribute the gift to the campaign. Progress is pledged / given / still-to-come per pledger — not a spreadsheet in the office.
