Welcome form and QR
The door card is a published form with a QR. Submission creates a person and an open follow-up record.
Forms & QR → Forms is where the welcome form lives. Publishing it is a setup checklist item. Print the QR or put the link on the site — that is how most first-timers arrive.
01
Review and publish
Open the welcome form. Check the questions, SMS consent, and the thank-you message. Publish it. An unpublished form has a QR that does nothing useful at the door.
02
Decide what an answer means
The card asks whether they are looking for a church home and what they would like to know more about. Open any dropdown, tick-all or tick-box question and use "When they answer…" to give an answer a tag, a Next Step, or both.
A tag is added the moment they submit. A Next Step is only a suggestion: it becomes the reason behind the Recommended Next Step on their profile, and nobody is invited until someone on your team chooses to.
03
Print or save the QR
From the form, save the QR and put it at the welcome desk and on the slide. Submissions land on Forms → Submissions and create (or match) a person.
04
What happens next
A new first-timer gets a follow-up card at New, with one opening task. Both belong to your default follow-up owner (Follow-Up → Setup) until someone hands the card on. Handing the card on hands its open tasks over too.
