Child pickup codes — check-in to checkout
The code is generated for this Sunday when the child is checked in, and it is what you use to release them.
This is not a standing PIN on the child's profile. When a child or youth is checked in to a service, Disciplo assigns a six-digit code unique to that service. The same child next Sunday gets a new code. Two presence rows for the same child at the same service share one code.

See the code at check-in
Staff see the code on the child's register card. At the kiosk it is shown large, and it stays until a parent confirms they have it.
02
How checkout decides
Checking a child out is not a second tap. It opens verification, in this order: the six-digit code typed at the door matches this service's code; or the adult they are being released to is a recorded guardian of that child's household; or neither — a staff member types an override reason. That path is always logged, because it is the one that was not really verified, only recorded.
03
What you should set up once
Put children in households. Flag the adults who may collect them as guardians. Record allergies — a child with allergy notes triggers an alert to check-in staff when they arrive, including the detail.
