Sequences
A timed campaign. Workflows start it. They are not two competing inboxes.
Communications → Sequences is a timed series of messages after someone is enrolled — not the same as Communications → Templates (single reusable wording for Compose). Workflows → All Workflows is what starts a sequence when something happens. Use a Workflow action “Enrol in a communication sequence” for first-timers, tags, or joining a group. Add people by hand or via an SMS keyword when you are not using a Workflow.

Build the steps
Open Sequences, create one, and add the timed messages. Keep the delay honest — day 0 is now, day 2 is not “sometime this week.” Optionally stop the series if they leave a group or ministry.

Start it from a Workflow when the entry is an event
A Workflow action enrols them. Do not rebuild a multi-week series as several delayed one-off Workflow messages. For the common walk-in path, install First-timer welcome from New sequence → templates, then enrol from a Workflow.
