Who can see an answer
Named and anonymous sends, and the two permissions that decide who reads what.
People answer honestly in proportion to how safe they feel. Two settings decide that, and both are easier to get right before the first send than after it.
01
Choose named or anonymous when you send
Named ties each answer to the person, so you can follow up with someone individually. Anonymous does not, and the results will not show individual rows for that send at all.
The choice belongs to the send, not the assessment. The same instrument can go out named to leaders and anonymous to the congregation.
02
Know the two permissions
One permission lets someone see the assessment and the church-wide scores. A second, separate one lets them open a named person's answers.
Give the first widely. Give the second the way you would give access to pastoral notes.
