Sunday check-in — the welcome desk
How the register, dual presence, undo, and household check-in actually work at the door.
Open Gatherings, pick today's service, and you are on the register. Search by name, member ID, phone or household. One tap checks an adult in. A second tap on an adult undoes it — wrong name in a queue is normal, and the fix is one tap, not a support ticket.
01
Check an adult in
Find them and tap. That is presence as a member. Undo with a second tap if you hit the wrong row.
02
Mark serving
Someone serving during the service is present twice: as a member and as a volunteer. Use Mark serving on the staff register. That records them as volunteering at this service. For children's room ratios, they also need to be placed in a room on that gathering — Mark serving alone does not assign a room. Undoing check-in later removes both rows so they are not left half-present.
03
Household check-in
Household checks the whole family in one tap. Children in that household are recorded with the child role so the children's report is honest. After they are in, each child's pickup code appears on their card.
